Corky book events in Boston/Cambridge

Mae Ngai, coeditor, and Virgo Lee, representing Corky's Estate, traveled to Massachusetts for campus events on October 28-29. At U-Mass Boston, the event included a display created by students, "Photographic Justice @ UMB: How Corky's Legacy Lives On," and a 3-D creation of Corky's camera, by artist Celine Voyard (with Paul Watanabe, director of the Institute for Asian American Studies, below). Thank you to Shauna Lo and Celline Voyard!

Harvard and MIT Asian American studies held a joint event at Harvard's Center for Global Studies on Oct. 29. Thank you to Emma Teng and Eana Meng for organizing. We had the great pleasure to meet Lee-Daniel Tran, a student and photographer, who took these photos. (L-R below: Eana Meng, Virgo Lee, Erika Lee, Mae Ngai, Emma Teng)
