L.A. fourth-grade art project inspired by Corky Lee

Artist Gary San Angel reports that he led a "10-week school-based curriculum for 4th-grade students on Corky Lee. The students got to know Asian American history through Corky's photos and then created their own photographs with old film cameras and darkroom prints. They also wrote personal stories and poems reflecting on their own experiences and created a final protest poster to represent what each student stands up for in their own communities."
