"Photographic Justice" closes after 8-month successful show

Photographic Justice: A Tribute to Corky Lee, an exhibit of 72 photographs by 31 photographers, including 12 photographs by Corky Lee, was on display at the Charles P. Sifton Gallery, US District Court (EDNY) in Brooklyn New York, from May 2022 to January 2023. The exhibit was curated by Chee Wang Ng as an expanded, second iteration of the show “Corky Lee on My Mind” held at Pearl River Mart in May 2021, curated by Joanne Kwong, Chee Wang Ng, and Karen Zhou.

Photographers included long-time colleagues of Corky and younger photographers, many of whom Corky mentored. The diversity of ethnic backgrounds, themes and content, and perspectives testifies to the evolution and richness of "Asian American Photography."
